All About Erika Dalya

As a cultural entrepreneur, Erika Dalya Muhammad is part of a new breed of international, socially engaged media experts who place a premium on interconnectivity and new models of production and distribution. She has taught classes on contemporary art, cinema, music, and emerging technologies at Yale University, New York University, and The New School for Social Research. As a curator, her work has been exhibited at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) List Visual Arts Center, the Studio Museum in Harlem, and the Spelman College Museum of Fine Arts. Additionally, she has held curatorial positions at the Whitney Museum of American Art and the American Museum of the Moving Image. Erika received her Ph.D. from New York University and undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Chicago.
